Eximbank names new acting CEO

Lender Eximbank has appointed Nguyen Hoang Hai as acting CEO for a year to replace Tran Tan Loc who resigned Monday.

Hai, 45, who has worked for ABBank and EVN Finance, had become deputy CEO of Eximbank in early August.

Loc remains a director.

Also on Tuesday the bank dismissed another deputy CEO, Pham Quang Dung.

Last month it had appointed Nguyen Canh Anh as a director. He too has worked for EVN Finance in the past.

It has been a game of musical chairs for the Eximbank leadership in recent years.

Do Ha Phuong became its chairwoman in June in place of Luong Thi Cam Tu, who had only taken over in February 2022.
