Australian Counterfeit Banknotes Surge to Eight-Year High of 20 Notes per Million
The Reserve Bank of Australia detected 40,613 fake notes in the twelve months to March 31, with fifty and one hundred dollar denominations making up 95 per cent of seized currency.
